Sunshine for the Soul...Sunday!

"You’ve always given me wings to fly,
and I have loved you for it."

--Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Mirror Lake 2009

This photo was "serendipity"...
we were enjoying mirror Lake at Yosemite and I looked up and saw the contrail from the jet above and snapped the photo because here we were in the great outdoors and it seemed out of place to be seeing that there. Little did I know that the bird had flown into the picture just as I snapped it.
It was fun to see this when we uploaded our photos.

I have been telling Tracy since the first few years of our marriage that he has given me wings to fly and that because of him I am the person I am today. He has never held me back at all, but encourages me in every way and WOW, the praise and encouragement that I daily receive from my sweetheart is a treasure to me!

So, I absolutely LOVED this quote
that Sister Hinckley told President Hinckley
in their older years when I read it, because that is the
kind of husband that I have been blessed with as well!

I love my Wonderful Life
with the Love of my Life...Tracy!!

What a sweet heartfelt post. It sounds like your husband is just wonderful...there's nothing better than a guy who is your partner and equal and who wants you to be your best. It's never something to take for granted....such a gift.

It is so nice to share a life with someone who encourages you and loves you for the things you do and the person you are, supporting you in everyway.
What a great man your husband is.
Your relationship is truly a treasure and great example for you own sweet boys to see!

That is a really neat picture. The jet trail and the bird are the first things I noticed when I clicked on your blog. I love surprises like that.

You are a really good photographer Kim and I always love how you can find a story or a metaphor in your pictures.

You truly look at life with the glass full (not half full!).

Beautiful picture. You sure have an eye for photography, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

It is a blessing to have a wonderful husband. And I just love how you compliment yours often. I'm sure you are as good to him as he is to you.

Wasn't Pres. and Sister Hinckley such beautiful examples to us? I loved hearing them speak of each other.

Thanks for your beautifuil post today.
