Have the courage to follow your heart & intuition...

"No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose."
From Steve Jobs 2005 Commencement Speech to Stanford University, about a year after being diagnosed with Cancer:  (here)
What a sad day to lose such an amazing visionary and innovator...
he died way too young!
Steve Jobs...what an awesome man, who truly had the courage to follow his heart and his passions.
I was SO touched by the quote above that he gave as a Commencement Speech, shortly after finding out he had cancer.

I want to live the powerful words that he spoke
so I can be the BEST Kimmie I can be and to live my life for ME, not how others think I should live my life;
and that takes courage!

PS...Thanks Steve Jobs for inspiring us, for providing us with "Magic" that has made the lives for people all over the the world a more wonderful place, with being able to listen to music, keep in touch, get online, etc... with all of the wonderful products you were the master-mind behind!
iPod, iPhone, iPad, and many others.
I loved how they said you provided "magic", while other companies just provided technology.
It has been inspiring to listen to all of the wonderful things that have been said about you these past two days. I didn't realize that you helped in the beginning stages of Pixar and that their first hit "Toy Story" was greatly because you were on board with them.
(this is such a wonderful tribute about you here)
You are a visionary, remarkable, awesome man
that will be greatly missed!

Thanks for giving us the tools
to help us all have the courage to
"Design our Own Life"!

It was a sad day. He was the Henry Ford of our generation! Amazing all that he did and that he persevered and never quit even after being fired from his own company. He will be missed.
